Update for Mark and about me- spoke to PCP this morning and he advised me to stop the steroid that was prescribed by my neurologist. I stopped it and hoping I feel better soon (symptoms are strong today) and hopefully it will subside by tomorrow. He told me to keep in touch. I also let neurologist's office know I stopped it because they also told me to keep in touch. And neurologist nurse just got in touch with me. Said I need to stick to the medrol dose pak and stop following up with my PCP (even though the ER told me to). Okay, so, any thoughts?

Another thing...
It's been 3 weeks since the concussion (I had two in 3 days). I know this is not very long, but my pain has increased tenfold with no relief.
I have had herniated discs in my lumbar spine which have led to shots and surgery back in Feb 2012 and recurring pain in November/December 2013 (when I got shots). Unfortunately, my neck is feeling the same way as my back did right before my surgery. I also have weakness in legs and extreme shoulder/arm pain.
I understand that this neck and back pain may be because of the brain injury. I was wondering if any of you would recommend me being seen by a different neurologist for a second opinion, or if I should describe the pain to my current neurodoc and see what he thinks?? Mark recommended a diff doc like a Physiatrist- what have been your experiences with those type of doctors?
Thanks for letting me vent everyone. Just very frustrated.
