I've been away awhile. I've had some good changes and some bad.

Good -

Anxiety, blurred vision and nightmares went away completely

Bad -

I'm still getting bad headaches (not constant), dizziness, and nausea.

I've been diagnosed with tinnitus and positional vertigo, 45% hearing loss in right ear, 55% loss in left ear. Drums are perfect! Because of that the loss is permanent. I'm going back for mini bte hearing aids (I'm 26). I'm also going for a balance test (eng) a test that checks nerves on face? Can't remember all the details. This was all done by a Audiologist. My neurologist hasn't said much other than it takes time to feel normal :-(

I'm just holding on trying to get by. The first 3-4 hours of my day seem to be headache free but then comes a massive headache. Can't think or focus. Audiologist says it could be due to my ears.

WOW... glad to hear that some of the symptoms are subsiding... sorry to hear about the hearing loss.. I just found out I have hearing loss as well...

was all this testing with the lawyer or the WC doc? Are you at work or at home?

The Start: MVA, t-boned, on 1-12-14 (my sons 5th birthday) and did not think anything of it.. my back hurt on site but everything else seemed ok. Lost about 10-12 hours from about 3 hours after the accident to the next day...Experienced terrible brain fog for over a month, plus intense headaches, nausea, dizziness, cognitive difficulties, disorientation, no short term memory, depression and just an overall hangover feeling daily.

Current Situation: I'm about 7 months in and my local neurologist has waived her white flag and therefore I am headed to Dallas to be seen (I have family there). The headaches are still daily. I have nausea, dizziness as well.

Drugs I have been on- Vicodin (off), Naproxen (off), proanolol (off), topamax (off), cataflam (off), Midrin (off), Flexeril (off) and now Namenda XR (off), Nortrptylin (off), Verapamil (off)

Therapy- Osteopath, Vestibular and balance therapy, fuzion/soft tissue massage, acupuncture

Drs- ER (no help), GP, Chiropractor, Neurologist and Osteopath

All testing is being done by a WC audiologist. He's a great guy. I'm still out of work as my headaches and balance is not good.

Just found out WC rejected the ENG and hearing aids. What I mess! Now my lawyer has to get involved.

It seems easy to me. I got hurt, doctor did test and proved it was due to injury, therefore they are responsible right? WRONG!!!

This is BS and to be honest I'm sick and tired of fighting with these people. By the time I'm treated I will be able to retire at the rate it's going!
