Default Extra Sensitive to Small Sounds

I was sitting on my laptop as my daughter buttered her toast today, and I seriously thought I was going to lose my mind. I could hear every scratch of the knife against the bread.

I had this problem the other day as well. My son was eating chips next to me, and my brain felt like it was going to explode. It was actually physically painful for me.

Maybe this means my health is improving? A few months ago, I used to completely zone out. Someone could be a foot away calling my name, and I wouldn't even hear them.

I don't even know if this is related to the concussion or not. I'm just curious if anybody else has this problem.
