In a world filled with terrible news, it was so nice to see your posts.

Waking up to a brisk Sunday morning here in the Sunny Coast of the Sunshine State.
That's Queensland, Australia, not Florida.

It's mid Winter here, but it's bearable and the sun will be shining soon. Pitch black right now.

We'll probably chase the sun today and head out into the country.
I'm going to make some scones with jam and cream and we'll have a Devonshire Tea.

I need to try to read more of a book I'm reading, but I've been a little too restless to do that this week.

I really should be doing other things today, but we'll see how it goes...

no rush, no drama. There's enough of that.

Default Ahhhhhhh!!!!

Wow! Thank you for sharing your ahhhhhs. They are great and uplifting.

Two days In a row my perspective is spot on. This has been a rough fight for a long time but I can see through to the celebrations, the home runs, winning even just a small step.

My 12 yr old has been fighting each day since January 2012. She found out that day her back was broken in half with no chance of healing without surgery. After many months on the couch she had spinal surgery in Aug of 2012. Many more months on her back on the couch. Then our accident the night before Thanksgiving 2012.

Severe concussion with lasting brain damage, headaches, migraines, PTSD, depression, anxiety, nightmares, and completed personality change.

She has never quit. Everyday she fights to get stronger, to get her body back, to stay positive, to never quit.

She has made huge strides this last month and I'm so proud of my hero. I can see the sun in her eyes again and real happiness when she smiles.

It's amazing how many negative things u don't waste your energy on when u are so focused on the good stuff.

May you all have ahhhhhs every day that reach your souls.

Warmly,

Jenna

Hi Jenna,

I did not know that this had happened to your daughter as well. My heart goes out for your whole family. I hope you can both experience more than just occasional "Ahhh" moments. God bless you both. M-i-m

Jenna,
You have a beautiful spirit.

I don't know you personally, face to face, but I can tell.

I went out and got my first pedicure with my daughter today. It took about an hour and it is absolutely wonderful and relaxing (massaged my calves and feet). We had fantastic convo and just a great time.
