I hope it keeps working. girlfriend thinking of getting another cat to cheer me up and keep me busy lol. also neurologist told me I have fibromyalgia now without the tender points. there you have it folks. my brain injury has turned into a rare case of fibromyalgia lol

Hi Mark,
So pleased to hear you have some relief with the night terrors, trembling and burning. Are you noticing any side effects with the Neurontin? A massage therapist asked me if anyone in my immediate family had fibromyaligia, (was adopted so who knows...) is the neuro absolutely sure you have this? I wonder if fibromyalgia can surface after an accident? don't know too much about it. hope your weekend is going well... |

thank you so much for your reply. I think fibromyalgia is the term given when they don't want to say we cant see the cellular damage in your brain so we'll say you have this instead lol. my sisters do have t but I never had any sign of it before injury seven years ago. but at least this doctor cares. nice neurologist says he will try to help.]
I feel loopy from the increases in Neurontin lol. but I have also been on a crash diet and lost 40 pounds the past six weeks so the combination plus Xanax ad ambien could be doing it. have to be careful hope you are doing well and I love my cat lol |

hey mark,
just woke up from a night terror - sopping wet from sweating. At least I didn't weke up screaming at the top of my lungs. I have very little chance of sleeping for a while now. its 3:15 am now where I am. How often did you get them before you upped your does of Neurontin? How often do you get them now? thanks - and hope you are doing sleeping and wont be able to answer this till the morning |

Floyd. Jesus I hear you. Just reading about you waking up with terrors gave me chills up my spine because I am so afraid of thim. The next time you wake up to one remember you are not alone we must and will find a way to stop them. I will let you know how the increase in gabapentinand ambien work over the next few nights. So far I have gotten some decent results.I have even started reading which part of the braind are responsible for this occurrence and I'm trying to find out which medication is best effect bringing these dreams to an end. remember though I have had several injuries and that is why my terrors are still around. If you are new to the concussion then there is a great chance this will resolve on its own

Interesting post. I too have fibromyalgia without the pressure point sensitivities. So I can get a diagnosis of only "myalgia", which just means "muscle pain". The seeming mildness of the term belies the constant and maddening pain, which in truth often reaches excrutiating levels.
