The Trauma center will give you an unnecessary dose of x-ray radiation. They rarely have top line neurologists on duty so they take a shotgun approach looking for the most serious issues. A CT Scan is 100 to 200 times the radiation of a simple X-ray. Avoid them unless there are real indications of a need for the radiation exposure.

Vasospasms are not a risk. They are just painful.

Sounds like it could be pre-migraine aura.

I did not go... layer down and then fell asleep... had 3 episodes last night that woke me up... this morning I went and bought a BP machine... So far my readings have been

160/100
159/100
150/86

any cause for concern?

That's a little high. If you have any propranolol left, you could take 1/2 a pill to get your BP into a better range.

Yesterday I ended up with a BP of 170/108... went to the ER and got another MRI... still fluid... no spinal tap... had a headache cocktail of torodol, Benadryl, and phenegran... seemed to work wonders.. no significant headache today... hope this lasts a while...
