Default Please help!! Urgent !

Ok so I am taking notryptiline 25mg once a day since 20 days. I am not sure but it probably caused palpitation and restlessness in me. My PCP told me to stop it. I couldn't get the appointment of my neuro who prescribed it to me but his assistant told me it shouldn't produce the mentioned symptoms but I can stop if I don't feel good on it. The ER guy told me I can stop it. I am scared to go off of it abruptly but at the same time I am scared to take it. Any suggestions?

The 25mg once a day is the lowest dose. So you can stop abruptly without any harm as your pcp is telling you or you can break the pill in half if you are worried.

But it does sound like something else is going on. If you are really concerned can you go to the ER? or your doctor's and have them check you out?

Be well!

Cut your dose in half for a week. Then, in half again for another week.

25 mgs per day is already a low dose. Common dosages are three to four times that.
