Default went to neuropsych two years ago

he threw me out.. said he could tell there were no cognitive defects and i was looking for a lawsuit. this was WAY after the period for bringing a lawsuit. i was mad but left thinking i didn't need one.

tonight i watched Manhattan about the Manhattan Project. I knew it was on three times in a row and I watched the first one but every time i switched to that channel after watching the first one I saw the title Manhattan and thought it was the Woody Allen movie. not once, twice but three times i forgot it was about the Manhattan project.

then, looking for what was on tv, i typed in sunday 1am, even though it was Monday 1am.

on top of that i had to do research to find the title of a werewolf movie my girlfriend asked about. THE HOWLING. a movie i saw and loved a million times and dont know how i forgot its name.

little things like that make me wonder. am i just being paranoid? should i maybe see another neuropsych? would it matter either way at this point?

The only reason to have an NPA done is to quantify your functions. In some cases, there will be therapies to strengthen weak functions. In other cases, it just adds a definition to what you already know.

Imputing Sunday instead of Monday does not mean a cognitive deficit.

A cheap way to check out neurocognitive functions is to have a ImPACT or similar test done. They are cheap. Some can even be done online. Most concussion clinics are set up to administer them. https://www.impacttest.com/about/?The-ImPACT-Test-4

markneil,

Your sleep apnea can cause all of your memory symptoms.

thank you Mark. I have a bad habit of ripping off my cpap mask when i wake up the first time after falling asleep. it is dumb and i must stop it. I also only average four vivid dream filled hours of sleep a night. Going to take the ambien tonight when i am ready to sleep along with gabapentin and keep mask on the whole night.

Mark, let us know how you do on the Ambien, whenever I take it I'm a zombie, or should say more of one the next day.

Hope it helps you
