Default Ritalin?

Hello again,
I'm seeing a therapist who's referred me to a psychiatrist who specializes in TBIs. i'm seeing him tomorrow. The therapist said ritalin might be able to help with focus. though lack of focus isn't my main complaint...depression, anxiety, fatigue, headaches, brain freezes (cognitive fatigue) are...

found this http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15641125 saying ritalin could help w/ depression too and sounds like if side effects are horrible it wears off pretty quickly.

Thoughts? experience?

I hit my forehead left of center almost four months ago. making progress but feel like 100% is still months away and i'm anxious to get back to my job in mid sept if possible
