Multitasking is not healthy for even healthy brains. It is a cause of mental stress. This has been well researched.

Try using a piece of blank paper under the line of text you are reading. It will help your eyes stay on the correct line. That is why I ask people to limit their posts to 5 lines before using a double paragraph space. My eyes want to jump around the text trying to find the line I am reading.

The reading out loud is a common problem. Sometimes, it will help if you pre-read the section of text.

This thread may do better if it was separated into two threads. One would be work-arounds and techniques for dealing with symptoms. The other would be exercises or therapies for improving symptoms (healing).
