Hopefully you get answers to your issues.

I was freaked out about how I did on the test, some users who I bugged will tell you how paranoid I was of it.

Luckily I learned a lot, and did a lot better on some of the tests than I thought too. At the same time I did worse on some parts that I thought I did good on.

It really gives you a sense of relief when you finally know the answer.

I hope you come back with positive news!

That's great that you'll get therapy and a follow up test. Putting aside how tiring it is, I'd love to do another neuro-psych to measure my progress.

I do so hope your get improvement from the therapy. Don't be discouraged if you get very fatigued, especially after the first few sessions. When I started APT, I'd come home and flop on the chesterfield for the rest of the day.

Well im going to be doing vestibular therapy for my balance issues.

He implied that my body has surpassed the natural healing phase. Basically saying im stuck with it.

Luckily ive been through cognitive therapy where I have learned some workarounds. Now im also discovering new ones on my own.

Kev, I can't remember (big surprise) when you sustained your TBI.

Even pretty old school neurologists tend to think that improvement is possible for up to two years.

Modern research indicates that the TBI brain can continue to improve indefinitely.

Yes, improvement comes more quickly, and effortlessly, in the beginning, but therapy can continue to pay dividends. I'm seven years post injury, and my cognitive function has continued to get better. The brain is amazing - don't give up.

Sounds good, I believe in infinite healing as long as I keep myself in check, and dont worry, I dont believe in the word quit! :)

After 1 year of issues I had an Occupational Therapist assess me in June of this year. The treatment plan was denied. I just had my internal examination done today by the insurer's OT. Wish me luck. I hear about all of the therapies you are all receiving and hope I can be a recipient of those too.

good luck!
