Do they allow you to sleep on your side?

Lost about 10-12 hours from about 3 hours after the accident to the next day...Experienced terrible brain fog for over a month, plus intense headaches, nausea, dizziness, cognitive difficulties, disorientation, no short term memory, depression and just an overall hangover feeling daily. Current Situation: I'm about 7 months in and my local neurologist has waived her white flag and therefore I am headed to Dallas to be seen (I have family there). The headaches are still daily. I have nausea, dizziness as well. Drugs I have been on- Vicodin (off), Naproxen (off), proanolol (off), topamax (off), cataflam (off), Midrin (off), Flexeril (off) and now Namenda XR (off), Nortrptylin (off), Verapamil (off) Therapy- Osteopath, Vestibular and balance therapy, fuzion/soft tissue massage, acupuncture Drs- ER (no help), GP, Chiropractor, Neurologist and Osteopath |

Yes they do, I've used the memory foam contour pillows for many years.
You should be able to find small, med, large , but some stores only carry the medium size. I got my newest one at Costco , it has some gel on it also so your head doesn't get too hot.

If you feel like sharing, how did the meeting with the neurologist go.

Neck is still not great but I am working with a person here in Dallas that does some traction and active stretching along with massage... hopefully this will help!
As for the neurologist... I do not know that I have EVER been more disappointed with a doctor... I now understand what you have all been going through... My neurologist back home was always up to try alternative treatments and understood that there is a difference between a trauma headache and a migraine... This guy did not want to answer our questions and threw drugs at the headache.. this time it is immatrix and depacoat... He said that there are the big 4 and I have been on 3 of them... I am guessing I have not be on this latest one because IT IS NOT A MIGRAINE!!!! and they are all migraine meds... Tomorrow I go and do the neuropsych for the physical medicine doc and then meet with her on the 15th (I am trying to move that up so i can go home to my husband and minions) Question about neuropsych.. do they do a repeat after a few months to check progress?

After trying many different ortho pillows, I found the best for me was the Tempur-pedic ones. Especially if you have smaller size, you may need to import from Japan like I recently did. Bought a Tempur Millennium (XS), and Tempur Original (Junior). These may be a bit small for your liking though. The Millennium is only available in Asia, not here in North America.

As for your question about the neuropsych, as they are expensive and time consuming, it's not usually repeated. However, as this is being done as part of a study, it could be different for you. |
