Default Any alternatives to xanax ?

5 months into PCS here. I have been taking .25 alprazolam since a month now and feeling kinda ok, and having more good tinnitus days than bad ones. Regardless, my duration on it was over until I went back to my GP today and requested him to give mer more of it for a month and he prescribed. However, I don't know why I should take xanax for my pcs. I mean I am just dealing with insomnia and tinnitus. I admit I feel good after xanax bit are there any less addictive alternatives out there for sleeping aids ? I can't think of any reason I should take xanax as I don't have extreme anxiety

Any natural stuff you know which helps in pcs? I am thinking to get on homeopathy for long term and see how it goes. I heard basil leaves are good anti anxiety herbs too

Have you tried L-Tryptophan and L-Theanine ? 500 mgs of L-Trypt and 200 mgs of L-Theanine, twice a day.
