I have come across many posts wherein people say that docs don't link their tinnitus onset with mtbi. Instead they say that you would have gotten tinnitus anyways if it had to come and TBI may not be the cause of it necessarily. But its reassuring to see that so many people have their tinnitus started after being hit on the head. I strongly feel my T is the result of trauma to the brain.

Or do we only have the unlucky ones on here including me who would have had T regardless of their brain injury? Any thoughts ?

For me, it appears to be too common for it not to be associated in some way with the head injuries.

I wonder if we have people on here who have Hyperacusis along with tinnitus . Has it improved for anybody overtime ?
