My issue is this.... I am sick of it all. Personally, at this point I could care less whether it is a coupe contre coupe with white matter disease All I know is that this car accident destroyed my life, and it isn't going to get better anytime soon.
every day is a constant reminder of everything I have lossed. Noone in my life understands what I struggle with every day. I haved by told by all of my doctors that I will not be able to work...mainly due to the severe neck damage. You are going to need social security disability. Well, I have a thick ego, and it irritates me that I will not be able to work. I am tired of people telling me that I am depressed. That I need to be happy. That I need to push through the pain. Well, what they don't understand is that I do everyday. This is all I have to give. My life is as is was is over. |

I'm sorry PCDjourney. I wish you weren't suffering but you are not alone. You can always come in this board to vent. I know it is very hard as I have lost a lot too and you're right. People for the most part don't understand but on here they do. My thoughts are with you.
I don't know much about neck injuries but I'm sorry yours were severe. I wish I had more to offer than my friendship. But it's there if you need it. |

Get your SSDI application started right away. As you delay, your wage base becomes diluted by the non-wage period or lower wage period. This effects your benefits amount for the rest of your life. I waited too long and my benefit is hundreds of dollars less that it would have been if I had started my application sooner.
You can always stop the SSDI payments. In fact, they often requalify you some years later.
