Default "mild" concussion, but not fun

Greetings, everyone,
I fell 8 weeks ago in the bathroom at night and hit the back of my head on the marble vanity. Other than temporary nausea for maybe 15 minutes, I was OK and went back to bed (now I know I shouldn't have done that.) I slept well and the next day had absolutely no effects and felt fine. I did have a CT scan to rule out a bleed and that was fine. After 6 days, the headaches and noise and light sensitivity started and, although things are better, I am still impacted. I rested as much as I could for the first 6 weeks, but still went to work, although, as therapist, I only needed to go in for specific clients. Now, I have some trips I paid for a long time ago and am committed. I am a little worried about the airline travel and the intensity of one of the trips, which is like a tour on a bus with 30 people.

My questions are: Other than Bose, which I tried on and which are terrific but are so expensive, what other headphones or earplug have significantly reduced external noise - on airplanes, in restaurants, and the like.

Secondly, has air travel been especially stressful for any of you?

I'd appreciate any feedback. I don't want to cancel these trips but wonder if I'm hurting myself further. I can get overwhelmed, but after a rest, feel quite fine. Mild headaches much of the time, but not always.

Thanks a lot. So grateful to have found this site and all of you!
