maxpower,

The problems you stated are memory and problem solving related . Not uncommon for PCS. You don't say what you have done to recover since your injury.

Any doctors treatment ? Other therapy ?

Are you currently in a stressful living or work environment ?

i am in a very stressful living environment, i often hear alarms because it seems like i'm living alone without my family above a firehouse. i believes it stems from the lack of support of the basketball hoop set up i did for my 14 year old daughter kiley two years ago when it ALL came following down. i have yet to seek treatment for i havent given it much thought since the incident, but when i put two and three together, i realized i had experienced a brain injury earlier when i knocked my head on a wooden dresser while cleaning up after a graduation party. anywho, i will be seeking out other help not in a social media environment because some of my symptoms are begining ing to affect my "every day" life. for example, i ordered a milkshake but wanted a soda. i ended up with both drinks but i was dining alone! i find myself very scrambled like a josseled scrabbled board that nobody bother to pick up. i guess its been a "back to the drawing board" situation for many years and i am finally starting to "take the reins" but i have never owned a horse.

I would love to try to help you but I am having a hard time understanding what you need. Whether your post is your writing style or a result of your injury, most of us need a simple more straight forward communication.

Can you just simplify you situation please ?

Just the facts without the extras.

What are the causes of stress in your life ?

What is your living situation ?

What is your work situation ?

And, please, keep your answers simple and short. Many of us struggle to read long paragraphs. Use a double space every five lines.

Exclamation

Basketball hoop rim, screws loose from afar. Cannot file xtaxes....I seek help for my memory loss. I..........just needed to vent because my daughter is now 16 and my hands move like a squid and I cannot keep up with her teenager lifestyle. I work as a secretary for a law firm which I rather not name because we are not accept in "applications" though there are internships available. Anywho, I was hoping to not be so alone like I was at the factory.

You should start with vitamins and minerals that nourish your brain and nerves. Lots of b-complex for one.

NO, Too much B-Complex can be bad. A single B-50 or B-100 per day is max. Then, add some B-12 (1000 to 2500 mcgs of methylcobalamin) and maybe a B-6 (100 mgs). Some niacin added is also OK. Anti-oxidants are good, too.

maxpower,

I give up. If you can be a secretary for a law firm, why can't you put your comments in an understandable form ? Is English your second language ?

Nobody cares about the basketball hoop. It does not help us understand your condition.

What do you try to do ? When you try to do it, what happens ?

What is it about your daughter's teenage lifestyle that you can not keep up with ?

Reread my comments. B-Complex is not bad. Too much B-Complex is. You suggested "Lots of B complex." You only want to take one B-50 or B-100 Complex per day. More is not better. B-12 is the most valuable for brain stress. Most B-Complex formulas are low on B-12 (usually 50 mcgs or much less)

There are some things in a B-50 or B-100 that you can take extra of. B-6 (maybe 100 to 250 mgs more per day but you should not need more than 100 mgs) and B-12 (1000 to 2500 mcgs per day of methylcobalamin) Lecithin and niacin can also be taken. Some B Complex formulas have a wide range of B's and other vitamins that need to be looked at carefully before taking a double dose. Some are just inadequate and out of balance. NatureMade B-Complex is just about worthless. It does not have any B-12.

Most B-50 Complex formulas have 50 mgs of most B's and 50 mcgs of B-12. That is a good start.
