Has anyone tried this?
http://www.ncrdoctors.com I heard about it from someone on another support group. They said they got positive results from it...including cognitive improvement. He told me it could reduce pressure on my frontal lobe. Just wondering if anyone knows about this. I'm considering trying it.

What happened: I was randomly assaulted from behind in June of 2011. I was knocked unconscious for an unknown amount of time (less than 30 minutes) and have no memory of the event. CT scan showed contusion and hematoma of the left frontal lobe. I spent 3 days in the hospital. Diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome in September 2011. Currently have Medicaid, Medicare and SSI. Current symptoms: Brain fog, mild memory issues, problems with spontaneity, occasional spacing out, word finding difficulties, tinnitus in right ear and some other things that I can't explain. Life after the brain injury: 4 years after the injury, I'm engaged to my beautiful girlfriend of 5 years, I'm the CEO of my own business, Notorious Labs, I've taught myself how to program complex games and apps which is a feat I never thought I'd accomplish and now live a semi-normal life with very mild PCS symptoms. Slowly but surely regaining my life back. |

Wow! That looks really interesting!
I wonder if the effects of the procedure are somewhat long-lasting. Here's a video for those interested in what's going on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ngRpnBN3ag |

Neuro Cranial Restructuring was mentioned here long ago. The discussion did not go far.
From what I have found, NCR is either useful or a waste of time and money. It depends on the patient. Those who have a specific problem that NCR will correct may benefit. Those who have very minor issues may see no difference. So, the question remains. ???????

Thanks for the topic. There's only one person I could get a ride to in the Bay Area that does this.
Dr. Miyashita in Palo Alto, CA. He doesn't even do e-mail. $500 or so, but if it works, it means I'm not just waiting for release from pain or death. 20 months of chronic pain is wearing me down. Then again, that's what the crooks might be banking on. Suckers looking for relief. That is why I must trust in God alone. The world is filled with uncertainty. |

I'm always afraid stuff like this could make me worse.
I have a fear that instead of relieving pressure on my frontal lobe, it will add pressure to it.

i got NCR done to help my bite after some awful orthodontics in high school (TMJ, lopsided face, one side couldnt show expression) and i'm really happy with it! bonuses include vivid dreams, 1.5" height increase, faster recovery from sports/dance injuries.
i train hard so i go in once every two months for tune ups. dr. musich in morgan hill is awesome. |
