ok many thanks Mark.
forgive grammar in prior message - i dictated that to a non-native speaker, who does speak excellent English incidentally, down the phone.
ok so i should give you a bit more background.
i actually suffered successive impacts after the first glass door incident.

12th Sept - glass door incident on my nose, head didnt impact - i didnt pass out, no amnesia, no confusion, only symptom was taste of blood in mouth (but i did have a bleeding nose for a while) and a headache which went away after taking ibruprofen.
i felt fine following days etc.

17th Sept -suffered quite nasty jolt to the head from a boat trip then a few hours later endured a 45 minute car journey through some rough roads, didnt feel great after this and this caused me to have LCD screen issues and foggy brain.

23rd Sept - unavoidably had to take an elevator - it was old and jerked 3 times which caused 3 jolts to go into my brain. after that developed vertigo and balance issues to go with other symptoms.

i then rested up pretty darn solidly for 4 weeks and had until yesterday been feeling much better - mentally v sharp, not as fatigued, had energy for walks, seeing friends etc.

yesterday i went for a short walk and missed a couple of steps and landed on full body weight twice which sent powerful jolts to my head which i could tell my brain didnt like etc.

today brain feels foggier and i’m more delicate/shivering a bit and i feel like i’ve taken a step back or two.

this has made me nervous about flying long haul + taxis, elevators, escalators etc involved with travel on Thursday (yes i moved my flight from Monday 3rd nov as i was feeling a lot better and had really had enough of not being with my family).

you might perhaps understand better my paranoia about the massage given all this

Mark or indeed anyone else it would be great to get your thoughts about whether you think i should rest up given my recent set back or take a chance on travel.

many thanks!

I still think you should get home to familiar surroundings. Plan on needing a few days after your trip to rest and recover.

Ok thanks again Mark.
I'm going to go for it.
It's so frustrating because i was making such good progress.
Fingers crossed i haven't taken too many steps back and it's but a minor setback

hey Mark, in your greatly appreciated humble opinion how many of these episodes could be considered concussions/sub-concussions etc?
The new episode from Monday seems so far, touch wood, not to have brought on any new symptoms, just exacerbated my existing ones - ie dizziness/vertigo, mental fog, body twitching - although weirdly i seem to be able to tolerate computer screens better (but that may be because the front of brain has more to do with that) which would suggest its more sub-concussive before my brain had recovered sufficiently.
While i feel like i've gone back a bit i don't, fingers crossed and touch wood!, feel like i've gone back to square one.
Also i feel my brain moving about in my head when i walk about - is that anything to worry about?
And i do feel every step when i walk at the back of my head where the jolts from Monday had the most impact but it isn't unpleasant/that uncomfortable as such - again is that something to be concerned about? and to what degree for the time being should i avoid walking if so?
sorry for so many questions!
Big thanks!

You are just sensitive to jolts and movements. This is not uncommon. I would not try to label these events beyond head jolts and bumps.

Ok Mark, fair enough
I just have to make quite a tough decision about when to travel.
At the moment flying for 10 hours tonight is a very daunting prospect given my recent set back on monday.
I'm booked another flight on monday 3rd so am weighing up whether it might be best to wait till then because today my brain is supersensitive to any step or even any movement.
Many thanks

A couple of days is not going to make a difference. Recovery is a long process. Your anxiety is your biggest struggle. Get home and try to get a normal routine started. That way, you won't have an impending long flight to be anxious about.
