Default Candida overgrowth

Has anyone had a candida overgrowth after TBI? I am living it! It is very hard to do a 8 process all at same time. But I do feel better considering I was about to have organ failure amongst tons of other slow suffering death.

Poor immunity, hormones, lifestyle, stress, over stressed adreanal gland etc is all to blame.

This candida overgrowth plus tbi is bad on top of horrible.

On good note I have lost 30 pounds of inflammation, I was forced to change lifestyle, I have my best days in awhile, I am not masking symptoms with traditional meds.... the list goes on but, it is WAY TOO COMPLEX.

You're going to want to significantly change your diet. Look up an anti inflammatory diets; dairy and gluten (wheat, yeast, etc.) should be cut completely from your diet. Do the same with sugar (not considering sugar from fruits, but that's really it). Yeast feeds on sugar; it is now your mortal enemy. Consider getting food allergy testing done. Costs around 100$ but is paramount in safely structuring your food choices.

Start taking a probiotic, twice a day (once morning, once at night), and at least half an hour before food.

Please look into Coconut Oil; it is now your best friend. Google coconut oil and candida for more information. Coconut oil will absolutely help you with candida, taken (both) orally and applied topically.

Protip: if you're taking curcumin for your TBI, you can heat milk (or almond milk) in a pot until boiling, turn the heat down and add a teaspoon of coconut oil, cut open and add a fish oil gel, add 1-2g curcumin, and stir for 3 minutes. Curcumin is not bioavailable orally, unless paired with piperine, or dissolved in a fat or oil. This process makes curcumin bioavailable, and gives you an oral dose of coconut oil.

All the best.

Default Thank you

I am doing all that and more. I think I take more supplements and water than the start TBI.I cannot do milk so I do Kefir in coc water. My holistic dr is doing good listening etc but this is another long process. I have been on Candida diet for a few month's. I found a holistic doctor to help cause traditional has failed me since day one. I am totally bummed about this diagnosis. I just want to be healthy and stress free....The stress is killing me and now it is proven...systematic candida.

My family is tired and I only have 4 people in real life that do not think "its all in my head"! All my family is back stabbing me cause I am very ill and I am about to be homeless. They have emotional & mentally abused me beyond..... And STRESS is one of the leading causes to candida also.

I'm just like IDK how I suppose to get better with no support and in this family. Sorry it's been a rough day in isolation eating my veg & salmon by myself on Thanksgiving. But I do know a higher power stay's with me....how else do I make it threw all years of stress.
