Hello lovely people,
I have sensitivity to jolts as one of my main symptoms. I have been long struggling with this symptom and frankly it doesn't make sense to me. What does it mean when your brain shakes with such jolts ? Or you feel the impacts on your head when walking ? What happens in our concussed brain that shakes it on jolts? Or its just some chemical imbalance that we experience the shaking . please clear my confusion. Many thanks

This is probably one of my biggest issues, as it keeps setting me back every time I drive on too rough of a road or hit a pothole or someone pats me on the back to hard.
Unfortunately the only solution that I found so far is to do everything you can to minimize whatever you think might set it off.
With time it seems to get better, but then something big will set it off and it's super sensitive again for a while.

I always thought that it has something to do with my neck, and going to an AO chiro seemed to help, but then it got set off again at some point, so not sure.

My neurotologist said it's due to the perilymph fistula in my ear and it gets aggravated from jolting/vibration.
I had a surgery recently to fix that and been pretty much stuck at home resting since then so not sure yet if it helped or not.

I don't think there is an answer to your question. Many of us are sensitive to such movements. It could be the axons are weak and are strained by jolts. Who knows ? I have lived with this for 15 years. I just accept it and take steps to minimize the risk.
