Confused Newby Here

3 years ago I was run over by someone on a skim board and I got a concussion.

2 years ago I was pushed off a bench and since then I have had headaches 24/7, memory loss, double vision, the normal. I hit my head again 3 months later and my problems got worse. All resulting in over 57 dr. appointments in a year.

On friday I was getting in the car with the service dog I am training (Not for me) and I hit my head on the car door. My headaches are worse and I just feel horrible.

Would it be called another concussion or is it just a flare up of old symptoms?

Sorry If I don't make sense I'm kinda feel out of it now.

Im I writing ok though? I know it would be hard for a lot of you to read big paragraphs i think.

youwillsurvivelife,

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

There is not a real need to know if this was a concussion or not. What really matters is the symptoms . How is your neck ? Many symptoms are caused by neck trauma. The subtle neck injuries can be a struggle to treat.

What kind of service dog are you training ? My daughter uses a service dog for anxiety issues. She trained her red heeler herself and got her certified. 'Meek' is good at distracting her when she starts to show stress. She is an amazing animal.

How can we help you ?

My best to you.

My neck is a bit sore now that I think about it. I will ask at my next doctor appointment.

I am training a guide dog for blind people

I doubt your doctor will find anything wrong with your neck. The subtle injuries and strains to the neck need specialists and gentle care. More importantly, the patient needs to be disciplined with head and neck posture while resting and sleeping.
