Default Doctor prescribed Diamox (Acetazolamide) for PCS?

My doctor prescribed Diamox daily for my PCS symptoms. In particular Tinnitus.

Anybody else try this? Any results?

The doctor is highly respected in the medical community.

Tinnitus is a known side-effect of Acetazolamide. There are no know remedies for tinnitus.

It sounds like a shot in the dark but nothing more.
