Default Technical question

I keep seeing "thanks for this" under posts. It seems kind of like a like button. How do I post that?

In the lower corner of someone’s post there will be icon /button for Thanks - just click it.
Usually in the lower right corner , near the Edit, Reply and Quote buttons.
