hi there,
This is my No.1 remaining worst symptom although its not as bad as it was, particularly the vertigo side of it - other symptoms definitely on the mend - cognitively etc. My recent 2 setbacks in my recovery in the last month have involved principally my dizziness getting worse. My gut feeling, as per usual advice on here etc, is to rest up entirely and not exercise/walk etc. However, just came across the below on the brainandspine org uk site: Be good to get thoughts - i can walk normally etc with no noticeable issues although i dont feel like myself at all when i do given the diziness, i'm just not doing so out of fear of making symptoms worse etc. Many thanks! *edited copy/paste as site copied from has copyright notice* Website and contents copyright ©Brain and Spine Foundation,2012 - Please only link to such articles Last edited by Chemar; 01-22-2015 at 07:22 AM. I think it really dependends on how severe the inury, where it was, what was affected and what amount of excercise you are considering. I dont drive and transport is a bit iffy my way, so I walk between 3 and 15 miles a day depending on what I need to do. This definately delayed healing, caused symptoms to worsen. Stagnancy would also be unhealthy. We each need to find a balance. I can just about cope with four miles a day, though I am exhausted by aftertoon. Last edited by Chemar; 01-22-2015 at 06:01 PM.
