I think you are right about your difficulty swallowing being related to a neck injury. It gets inflamed resulting in radiculopathy of the nerve and the related dysfunction. Icing the neck may help as will good resting posture.

Thank you once again Mark for the valuable advice. After I got down from the vehicle, there was clearly a feeling of some sort of nerve/tissue inflammation/irritation in between my neck and throat below my skull. I would have constant burps and difficulty swallowing for hours thereafter. All this would start every time I hit a rough and bumpy road.

Mark, I take high dose fish oil , turmeric and B complex suppliments. Do you think this would help with my neck injury. Ofcourse I understand I need to keep a good posture along with this. Any other advice is welcome and appreciated. I am also thinking to go to a PT
