Default Pain pills

pain pills got me through the first year of pcs then I switched to amitryptaline and 3rd year I got off that. My headaches returned with a vengeance a few months ago and I got on the pain pills. It's amazing how it takes the edge off and I forgot for a few hours that I have a mTBI. How do people 3years plus manage pain? I don't want to be addicted to pain pills but a life without pain is preferable.

Your headaches must be really bad. I'm sorry about that. Are they migraine headaches? Have you looked into any alternative treatments like massage or acupuncture for example? I also wonder if you take any supplements that might help?

I took Topamax for migraine prevention for several years.
