Default PEMF therapy for healing tissue, nerves, bones, and ligamen

I was wondering if anyone else has tried it out. EMF's are electro magnetic frequencies, which naturally come from the Earth. Cell phones produce these, though, studies show they are most likely harmful.

The Earth has quite a healing effect. Do you ever notice how you feel better outside? It could be largely bc of these frequencies. Read about 'grounding'.

The PEMF ( Pulsed EMF's) machine acts similarily to the Earth, except it can be more powerful. More isn't always better, though, when it comes to EMF's--like I said with cell phones.

I've tried two machines. One I drove a long ways to use, and the other I rented. I believe my symptoms are almost completely related to neck and posture problems, which are resolving finally due to lots of things.

I can say I got decent relief. Not amazing. It was strange. I felt an immediate response to muscular tissue certainly. However, my posture was bad and (what I think) to be muscle fibers, seemed to break when I did any stretching. It was very strange and most likely wasn't healing in that sense, as a constant tear and repair cycle. It is extremely relaxing and helped with sleep. It helped with my dilated eyes too.

The therapist I saw used it on professional Viking football players. He said there is another therapist in NY that has 6 machines and has used them on Jets football players and found good results

There is a really good book called PEMF--The Fifth Element of Health. It has a site as well with lots of info. The book states at 2 Hz, nerve regeneration occurs, 7 bone growth, 10 HZ ligament healing, and 15, 20 Hz capilarry formation.

The top 8 benefits the author says is that it helps

1. Stronger Bones
2. Endorphins and Pain Relief
3. Better Sleep and HGH secretion
4. More energy ATP
5. Better Oxygenation and Circulation
6. Improved Immunity
7. Relaxation and Stress reduction
8 Nerve and Tissue Regeneration-- including the brain's tissues

Studies have shown very impressive. Several chronic conditions seem to be improved greatly or "cured" from it. The book is science based. I don't recall too many anectdotal stories.

I myself am curious about trying it again, once my structure is sound.

Please feel free to ask questions. Please personal message me if you're interested about the machines I tried. It was a pain in the butt to rent and it took a while to figure out the problems.

We have some older posts about "grounding" or "earthing".

You can use the forum search feature to find them if you wanted to read them.
You can chose a specific forum to search or you can search forum wide.
There are some in Peripheral Neuropathy forum as well as TBI/PCS
Parkinson's Disease Forum has some too. PEMF Therapy - keywords.

Here is something to read about 'grounding' or 'earthing' from a physics perspective.
http://scienceblogs.com/principles/2...bunch-of-crap/

Earthing is quite different than PEMF's although both are frequently promoted by the same sources and have overlapping concepts. Some say PEMF therapy is like earthing on steroids.

Some EMF's are considered problematic. Others say there is no risk. Electric blankets and electric mattress pads emit EMF's in the 50 or 60 Hz range and some suggest turning them off before getting in bed. I turn mine off, just in case. I appear to sleep better with it off. Could be the faint smell given off by the electric mattress pad when it is on.

Here is something to read about EMF's. 60 Hz and below are considered Extremely low frequency (ELF) EMF's.
http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/c...lds-fact-sheet

Oddly, Dr Mercola speaks about the benefits of PEMF, http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...grounding.aspx
Grounding http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...el-better.aspx
and the problems with ELF EMF's. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...nket-safe.aspx

I find it interesting that some people can advocate for both sides of the same argument and make a pile of money doing it.

I am definitely not taking sides on this publicly other than to say, guard your wallet.

The treatment I would like to find more information and studies about is Near Infrared LED light therapy.

Read up and enjoy.
