I experienced what you are. Get your neck checked first off. IT could take some rehab and adjustments. 2, take a break from neurotalk! if you're always reading about brain damage that's what will be on your mind. Trust me, I was the same way. Got better when I went away from the site.

CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, can help. A CBT therapist helps you learn new thoughts to repeat when responding to a trigger.
You can't just try to deny or suppress the anxiety thought. You must replace that thought with a valid though. Bud comments about needing to remind himself of a simple concept. "Would this touch, bump, or event have caused me to pause or be anxious prior to my concussion?" I call this struggle, Concussion Anxiety Syndrome. Some therapists are starting to see it as something that many need help with.

You can also try the Burns depression checklist, its a list of ten cognitive distortions that through self therapy you can do CBT to correct these issues. The book is called Feeling Good by a guy named David Burns
