HI SuperElectric!
Wondering if you might have had what's called an otoacoustic emissions test? In particular what's called a DPOAE (distortion product otoacoustic emissions test). This test given by most ENTS can see if the hair cells in your inner ears were damaged during your head injury. Unfortunately Hearing loss in minor or mild head trauma is VERY common. Thanks for your insight. Quote:

No, I haven't had any hearing tests, I've all but given up on doctors regarding PCS.

Well said. It doesn't matter what tests we do. There simply is nothing for us in this modern era medicine. There simply is no explanation for our symptoms. Nearly all the symptoms that we are going through are mysterious to the doctors. No diagnosis , no explanation , no understanding of the mechanism, no treatments, very little hope and support , nothing to look forward to in future, no assurance , totally un predictable and no timeline . on the contrary there is huge ignorance and lack of empathy by doctors. PCS is surely hell on earth! Sorry to be so negative but I am sick of this now
