Hi, I'm new here and I have a question.
My husband recieved a moderate TBI January 24th of this year, he has also been diagnosed with PCS.
Before his accident, never had any high blood pressure issues, blood pressure was always in the normal range, however since his accident his blood pressure has been elevated enough that it has his regular Dr concerned. he is suppose to go in for his physical in a couple of weeks. but I am just wondering if there is a correlation between the two?

Concussions can cause the autonomic nervous system to get out of whack. Hormones, especially the adrenal and pituitary hormones can be effected by concussion.

I see in your new member post that he was in hospital 4 days after his accident. What sort of accident was it and how badly injured was he?

He was in a Motorcycle Accident, slid 10-15 feet on the left side of his face, official diagnosis is Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion syndrome.
had broken nose and essentially peeled the left side of his face to the right, lots of suturing to place nose and lips back in place.

He's been through an awful lot in a month and a half.

You mentioned in another post he was going back to work in a few days.

Do you think he's recovered enough to be doing that?

Yeah, he is a 2nd shift patrol supervisor for a security company, he is in charge of a crew of 6 guys counting himself, so its nothing strenuous.

Plus he's been tinkering on my Bronco the last few days, bad news about that is him and my brother found a crack in the frame
