Default How to know if you had a brain bleed?

Is there any way to know if you had a brain bleed during your head injury? Is there a limited window of time?

Does the brain eventually soak up the blood?

I had temporal CT a month after the injury and then an MRI 2 months post accident. Both were so called "unremarkable".

Thanks for any feedback.

The optimal time to image a brain bleed is at 48 to 72 hours after the injury. After that, the blood starts to get absorbed by the body and is not distinguishable. If your CT and MRI were unremarkable (meaning noting worth noting), there should be nothing to worry about.

Why are you concerned if the results were unremarkable ?
