Default Anybody here who has tried Osteopathy?

Yesterday I had an appointment with a highly recommended Osteopath. I told him about my concussions and my problems. And he started working on me.

It was not gentle at all (that was what I heard about Osteopathy) and I was very tired the rest of the day. Also I did not sleep at all. Was awake every half hour.

This morning now I feel all my symptoms come back really bad. I have pressure in my head, fog in my head, I have internal tremor and my tinnitus got very loud.

Has anybody else experienced something like this?

If he was working on your skull, I would be very skeptical about his treatments. If he is working on your spine, chances are he can help you a bit. The science behind cranial manipulation is completely lacking.

It could be that drs technique that was poor.
He didn't explain anything as he was treating you?? I prefer a dr that tells me what they are doing....
Where did he work on you, all over or only head?

Oh after any PT, massage or adjusting, they should remind you to drink plenty of fluids to flush out any toxins that might have been released..
It's possible that the toxins might be why you feel much worse.. Try clear fluids and see if it helps.
