Default UPMC Concussion Clinic rethinkconcussions.com

Has anyone been here for treatment? They have this interesting website up rehinkconcussions.com and Dr. Mickey Collins is saying that he can treat this condition. False Hope?

The array of people working on you is kind of staggering. They also describe the concussions by breaking them up, instead of saying " If you have seen one head injury, you have seen one head injury" I called them.... its $900 for the initial appointment that lasts all day and they give you an active rehabilitation plan. What do you guys think?

rethinkconcussions.com the Concussion clinic is UPMC Concussion Clinic in Pittsburgh, PA. Looks like a great place to get diagnosed.

The UPMC concussion clinic has been discussed before. A few have been there. Some found it helpful. Others, not so much. If you can afford it, it may be worth a try. I bet one could run up a $10,000 bill. This web site is new.

I'm surprised they are not doing any HBOT research since they have so many concussion patients.

They state there are 6 different kinds of concussions. It would be great to know what those differences are. I looked all over the web site and could not find them defined.

UPMC is where the ImPACT system was developed by Micky Collins, PhD and others. They were a major part of why there are concussion clinics all over the country. To be ImPACT certified, the doctors and sport trainers must attend a UPMC based ImPACT seminar/training system.
