Default hit temple

Ok. So last night I was pushed off of a couch and hit the floor, rolled and then my left temple slammed onto the solid floor.
This morning I have pain around my temple and pressure above my ear. I know hitting your temple puts you at a higher risk for a brain bleed. I have no vomiting or dizziness as of yet, just the pain and pressure around both my temple and ear. Should I be concerned?

Have you iced it and taken any over the counter pain med like Tylenol, or Advil etc?
Is there any swelling or pink/red areas where you hit?

Hi lfees,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

It's such a very sensitive area.
The pain and pressure are more likely to be from bruising on the surface. If you do start to have any unusual symptoms please see your doctor.

Hopefully it will all be healed very fast.

Thanks for the responses! Ummm, no swelling or pink areas. I have noticed that I've been a bit out of it today, but I would suppose that is to be expected following any kind of hitting of the head.
