Let me add that I've been taking the vitamin regimen recommended here religiously for months now and have been giving myself a ton of rest. I haven't watched TV or listened to a podcast in over a month. Nothing seems to make this better.

I hope you go to see your Doctor or a counsellor Danny and as soon as possible. If you can get some help in treating your anxiety/oc issues and your current depression now, you'll hopefully find that it helps your physical symptoms.

Just remember though, that it is not unusual for these feelings to surface when a person's life has changed so drastically and suddenly. One minute you're working along and studying hard with goals and plans for the future and the next minute you're not. It's a massive and extremely difficult change to deal with and when you're stuck in the middle of that it's not clear that maybe in another 6 months you will not feel this way.

Whatever you do, please don't give up on yourself, because one day this will perhaps just be a blip on the radar. It's getting through this time of drastic change that is hard, and we all know how hard that can be here.

OCD is an anxiety disorder. If your oc issues are affecting your daily functioning then it becomes 'disordered'. Getting help from a knowledgeable professional who treats people with anxiety and depression can only help you. Getting those meds sorted can only help you. Regarding your medications, it unfortunately is often a matter of time with trial and error with meds and to you time is something that is weighing on your mind by the sound of it.

Try not to think about time limits. Try to get things sorted methodically. Ask for help in doing that if you need to if you feel muddle headed right now. Make a list or a plan and check off those items one by one.

Please take care there and let us know how you're doing.

Hi Danny

I'm really sorry to hear what you've been going through. *edit*. Every night I would lie down and hope to god I would wake up cured or not wake up at all. Every morning I would wake up and for a split second forget how terrible everything was. And then I remembered.

This may sound pretty dark and messed up but it's the truth. Eating dirt day after day after day. I honestly don't know how I made it through, but I did. This taught me that the human desire for survival and improvement is incredibly strong.

I'm a lot better now, still got some things to sort out, but a lot better. You might hate me for this right now, three months ago I was so angry and depressed that I hated all healthy people.

As for what you can do to fix yourself, there are a few things. I love the fact that you're sticking to the vitamin regimen, it shows how driven you are to get better.

How much computer time can you get at the moment? I'm guessing it hurt you a lot to post on here? Did you get someone else to post for you? Back when I was really messed up I got my parents to use the computer for me and I'd tell them what to do with my eyes shut and them telling me what was happening.
