Hello,
Since POTS isn't well known and can be caused by a concussion (it has many other possible causes as well), I thought you guys should know about it. Here are the symptoms: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2600095/ http://www.dysautonomiainternational...page.php?ID=30 It is diagnosed by a tilt table test, usually by a cardiologist or neurologist. Basically, if you feel shaky and dizzy and have trouble remaining standing, you may want to read about it. I have POTS (not caused by concussion), and would hate for anyone to suffer unnecessarily, not knowing what's wrong. |
