Just wondering if anyone else out there has woken up in any weird places. It doesnt happen all the time but a few times I will wake up in an odd place different room etc... Not concerned really just curious....Never used to happen

Yeh could be meds or your injury has upset your REM sleep. Follow it up, don't want to find yourself on a roof or somewhere. Definitely do not leave it and hope it goes away.
I was acting out my dreams until put on Clonazapam before that I was a risk to myself and others. Not being melodramatic just know it only takes once for something unfortunate to happen. |

Clonazepam and other benzos are not recommended for long term use, especially for those of us with a brain injury.

After being put on 50 mg of Amitryptiline, which has sedative effects, during the night I would fall asleep on the toilet (no dignity!), "come to" in the living room, and would have zombie like walks.
As mentioned above, those accidents in a sleeping/semi-conscious state are a concern. In one incident, I sprained my knee and badly injured three toes on my foot... so glad I'm no longer on that A/D. |
