Hi all,
I was driving last night - the first time in the dark since my accident. I had to pull over and let hubby drive. Everything felt like it was moving too fast for me to process, and lights and reflective signs were blurry and distracting. I'm going to book an eye exam, but wonder if anyone else has experienced it, and if it could be part of PCS. |

I think an eye exam is a good idea. I have had time where things appeared to be moving to fast to process. I'm glad you could have your hubby drive.
Was anything else happening ? stereo/radio playing ? people talking ? |

It was actually pretty quiet, kids were dozing and I turned the music off.
Sometimes driving is fatiguing, but this was worse. Eye appointment it is. *sigh*. One more thing..... |

May be totally different issue from conclusion. I worked in a day procedure unit which included people having cateract removal who were experiencing similar problems as yourself.
Opticians can tell us so much more about our health other than our sight so definitely agree that first port of call is getting eye test. Good luck. |

Aelfalba (sp?) My experience ( 6 months post-injury) would be advising you to seek out a behavioral optometrist. My regular eye doctor was oblivious, but current doctor has various ways of documenting exactly how the visual capacity is impacted. Good luck! Grace |

Thanks all
I will let you know what the optometrist says - or the behavioural optometrist if I can find one! |
