Littlebear41 sez. ………, I agree with what says Mark in Idaho. I learned in the psychology of learning class that there are 11, MILLION bits of information the senses are exposed to every millisecond that is filtered down to 40 bits that means that normally we receive 0.0003636% of the information our eyes are seeing. If the brain has had its synapses jostled it can affect the ability we have or one has two filters that information and retain what we need there me. There may be also the problem of you are able to see what you need to see. only you are not able to retain it, for more than a millisecond. It's it's likely that with the proper nutrition and exercises you can build the habits to see and have your mind work somewhat like the way it used to or emulated it. I find with my own mind that reading text now as compared to years ago I will see the light above the line below and the line I'm reading seeming to jumbled together the way ripples will in a flowing river. It's not your fault. This is just something you will left to learn to deal with until you build the habits to adjust for this they had injury may have caused the change in vision as well this is something I've experienced. One of the things I've experienced, is a hypersensitivity to light in fact at my work it is most severe where fluorescent lighting will cause the water cold gray outs, the literal loss of all ability to see blindness where all I see is Gray in half on my visual field. When this happens when I'm driving it is extremely frightening; I am forced to pull over without being able to see you there any vehicles in the lane I am trying to pull into so I can get off the road. I don't need to tell you this keeps me from being able to drive. I have found is proper nutrition, wearing shades when exposed to bright lights especially florescent lights, exercising my eyes much the way one would to with the EMDR therapy, and not over exerting results keeping well hydrated, and managing my stress, keeping my blood level and blood pressure at healthy levels all seems to be could to eliminate any recurrences of gray outs. It has been three years since the last time I have had one. … I am not a doctor nor do I claim to be one other than on TV's, but I have read in alternative medicine that Bilberries were very good for helping those fighter pilots during World War II to increase and improve their. Vision. and their accuracy. What doesn't hurt. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Littlebear41 |

for the senstivity to noise what i did is i would do a self-applied therapy of my own. Listening to music constantly, the classical or soft stuff to get my ears used to sound (not noise) and also finding sounds that are more beneficial. natural sounds seem good mostly. when i was at work and boxes or pallets were dropped i experienced shock and fear. i felt like i was having a mild form of PTSD, but it was the aggravation sound , sharp rude noise caused my system.
I try to keep rested, well hydrated, and lots of nutrients in my diet to keep from being affected, as well as meditation music to keep my ears from having 'down time'. i want sound, but ones that edify and not degradation of my well-being from a hearing point of view. I love to build and share networking on recovery, if you want anything i will benefit if you ask; as i will get motivated to look for myself and others. thanks. Be of service. Hello recoverying
i noticed not just with myself but others that the text lines will seem to weave and mix like they were currents on a river, one moving lower, another moving up, another meddling both ways. IN ADDITION to this would be an issue of reading comprehension. or spelling, i saw one yesterday, a sign marked 'RAINDEER" rather than Reindeer. How about the many i had to relearn a half dozen times. spelling challenges: chief, receive, Italian, corportation (incorrect) >corporation (correct), tabacco (wrong) tobacco (correct), resume, vacuum, spiritual, lounge, severe, strained, certified, rabbit, soaking, machine, Calvary (place of crucifixion) / cavalry (horseback military group). Four / forty, sausage. Boulevard, personnel (people working for a company) / personal (dealing with one's own self), bureau, niece, avenue, millennium, milieu, beneficent, benefit, juvenile, chief, queue, cue, jewelry, colleague, weather (what is rain, sun, cloud) and whether (either or), league, wreath, custom (what we do), costume (what we wear) / custom, exercise, exorcism, illuminate, allusion, necessary, enigma, timbre (tomber) quality of sound or music apart from loudness or pitch, library, February, magnum business, acupuncture, conscience (mental moral drive), Conscious (not in coma or asleep), infer and imply: infer (to draw an idea from what is heard, imply: to hint at something by what the words said.), asthma, bizarre, Guinea pig (not Genuine pig), weird words: free (tabacco free; the tobacco is gratis or not permitted in the area?) how to spell it was an issue. alrighty, okay, excuse, briefly, I don't want someone to follow (for me to follow them or them to follow me? I don't understand). Mad (crazy or angry), hardheaded (determined or stubborn jerk), childish ( immature or youthful spirit). Spirit ( alcoholic drink or spook, specter,, phantasm, ghost, ). hot (calor or picante = hot in taste or in temperature, or a really foxy babe), These things i had to find many, many tools to fix, and what i found has worked well. i am happy with my progress and no one knows the difference. People ...ha ha, THINK i have it all together. if only they knew how hard i struggled to get to this level. Littlebear41 |
