Default any special neck brace or headband for anti jolting?

Im wondering theres anything that you can buy that will stop or limit the jolting going to the head.. for us who are sensitive to jolts and vibrations
i believe this will make it easier to ride cars/buses and flights

so far neck brace has proven to be useless

In my experience, there are two issues.

Posture is important for relaxing and sleep. A cervical collar/neck brace may help during sleep and relaxing if it fits and support correctly. A travelers sleep pillow can help when flying.

Impact protection in a car is different. A collar can make a jarring more intense because there is less ability to flex and reduce the forces. I find it is better to ride in the car with shoulders off the seat back, slightly hunched forward. This allows the spine to flex and absorb a large amount of jarring energy.

Some have used seat cushions to reduce vertical forces. It needs to be stiff enough to still have some absorbing ability after being compressed by sitting on it. Many cushions are just too soft.

I bought one of those horseshoe shaped pillows that you take on planes and I wore it the other day when I was in the passenger seat and leaned my head against the headrest and it was great cushioning and kept my neck braced.
I haven't tried it as the driver yet. My doctor wanted to give me a neck brace today but they didn't have the right size. She said i shouldn't be wearing it when driving as it could impede head movement when needed.

From what I understand, except in some rare situations, a neck brace should be reserved for times when one is resting with relaxed neck muscles. If you use it during daily activities, it can cause neck muscles to become weak. Some suggest strengthening neck muscles so they do a better job of supporting the head.

If people think it will reduce jarring to the head from bumps in the road, the opposite is true. It will prevent the movements that absorb energy. Any jarring will be transmitted directly to the head and the joints between the cervical vertebra, especially C-1 and C-2 where there is minimal natural cushioning.
