Hey Starr,

Good luck with CBD. Be sure to let me know how it goes. I'm at 21 months of intense headaches, so I can empathise with you.

Update us on how things go. I'm very interested in this.

Good luck!

Out of curiosity, is the stuff you have pure CBD or does it have some THC content as well?

The strain I bought (and the licensed producer I'm with has several) is high CBD and nearly non existent THC, like 0.something.

But the doctor that prescribed it said that THC could also have some benefits, especially at night before bed, but not to go over an "8" with THC and preferably having that balanced with CBD.

I'm waiting until this flu passes before trying it. Probably be a few days.

I'm also interested in your results. Be sure to keep us updated! I wish you the best.

The best CBD strains have 20 to 1 CBD to THC. Most CBD strains have 10 to 1. Research suggests that this low level of THC is beneficial even though it does not create any high. Research also suggest that the medicinal value of THC is at lower levels, not the higher levels.

As I stated previously, THC vaporizes at a lower temp than CBD so any THC effect will appear first if you are vaping oil or dried plant.

I don't think any of us should be smoking it. There are too many toxins in smoked marijuana whether it is high CBD or not.

2 months now w/MM card

Ok, I suffer from PTSD, headaches, sensory integration, slow prossesing...to name a few....

Got my MM card 2 months.....It was talked and talked with my shrink since 2011.....
Well.....Not one crazy *** nightmare....No night sweats.....

I NOW SLEEP ALL NIGHT!!!!!! I used to get 2 to 3 hours of sleep, and felt like hell...
Everything has changed for me for the positive!

Im still learning how to manage....headaches are under control as I type....I was so afraid to try this but was at my ropes end after 8 1/2 years with little sleep.....

Using a vaporizer... at 2 heat settings... My one and only dispensary has few with high CBD, but adding more very slowly...
Its name is Chronatonic - 60% Indica strain. CBD = 9.2, THC = 5.2 and that's use for my headaches during the day if needed...Not needed more that 2 or 3 times a week....

As for the night time sleep stuff, I have a few that are working great....but this is all trial and error, which I am not a fan of....I have found one strain that gives me a headache....well that one was thrown out fast!

Now I could go on and on....I thought trying this stuff was pretty much a joke....My focus is better, and I most certainly don't walk around stoned that's for sure..

I did the CBD oil before I got my card...It did ease my headaches some...not a lot......

I suggest anyone interested to watch the Sanja Gupta CNN 3 part special called "Weed"....It swayed me to try this alternative rout as nothing else had worked, and hadn't slept in over 8 years....

I have not yet even tried the edibles....It will come in time....I am taking this very slow and carful documenting what works best or not at all for my situation....

Due to the origin of my TBI, I am not allowed to take any sleep meds as it has the possibilities of making things worse, as per my medical team...
