Alma,

Ditto for me. It takes around 24 hours to find out if I over did something. Don't understand the delayed reaction but it is definetly delayed.

Yes, I have read that before the industrial revolution people would sleep when it got dark for about 4 hours then get up for an hour or so, maybe have some food and then have a 'second sleep'. Sleeping for 8 hours straight didn't appear to happen. Here's some info https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segmented_sleep

I wonder whether concussion resets the brain to it's earlier setting?

Symptoms overcome: Nausea, head pressure, debilitating fatigue, jelly legs, raised pulse rate, night sweats, restlessness, depersonalisation, anxiety, neck ache, depression.
Symptoms left: Disturbed sleep, some residual tinnitus.
