Default Needing some advice on how to get through the days

I spend the majority of my time in my dark quiet room. It's been about 2 years with PCS and my patience is getting less and less.

This past year I got worse.

I still have hope, but I'm not prepared to live the rest of my life like this. Any advice on a good mindset or self talk would be appreciated.

Have you tried mild exercise? Can help and be a good way to get your mind of things.

Personally, exercise is normally a self confidence booster for me, and definitely gives me something to do. I also heard that exercise can now benefit in recovery for concussions and post concussion syndrome.

Aside from exercise, I also try to hang out with my friends, and not do anything too stressful.

Hope I could help
Sam

Yea...lots of us have been right were you are at......

I was told...walk, walk,walk.walk.....did I say they told me to walk? Ohy...

Well, get out, keep it simple, if you have to crash and sleep...do it!

It took me years to gain just a small part of my life back....I guess I would call it desensitize? or something like that....

Just take baby steps to get your life back...dont expect much but embrace the little things....Hang in there your not alone!

JBuckl, I empathise completely. I'm just under 2 years and am essentially in the same situation and feeling the same way you are. Nothing I do seems to help; in fact, everything I do makes it worse... exercise attempts, walks outside, family interaction, social interaction, reading, puzzles... sigh. Grrrrrr!

I'm bored. I'm frustrated. I'm getting quite tubby. And I too am finding it harder to stay positive... at least we have this community.
