Lightbulb Feeling better - hope this helps

Hi,

New to the forum and posting purely in the hope that my brief journey will help someone. I was five weeks in to concussion with several doctors appointments behind me and no course for help or resolution proposed, here's what happened.

Injury & symptoms
Don't judge me, genuinely got punched for no reason by my best mate's brother. Twice in the jaw, he's a big army lad and a bit of a psychopath.

Symptoms were a feeling of fuzziness or dizziness behind the eyes and disorientation. This came and went but generally made me feel awful.

Cure
I saw a physio who worked wonders on my back. Turns out my neck muscles on the other side to being hit were seriously tight and needed releasing. My jaw was also out on this side. This is all linked to the inner ear explaining the disorientation.
I feel better after one half hour massage on the neck and some exercises for increased mobility. I thought the feeling would never go away and doctors were useless. My physio diagnosed in ten minutes then sorted it out immediately.

I had to share this somewhere after trawling the web for answers myself. I hope this is useful to someone and doesn't get lost in the archives next time somebody searches with a similar problem!
