I don't think anybody here would recommend attending a rave while still symptomatic. What other intense activities are part of your lifestyle ?

You may be bringing all of your struggles on by lifestyle behaviors.

On a 0 (best) to 10 (worst) scale for suggested activities while manifesting PCS symptoms, a rave would be 50.

Feeling 9/10 is meaningless until you have a week or 2 of continuous 9/10. Then, activity levels can be increased and tested. Symptoms often manifest after a day delay.

I've been checking my blood pressure and its normal most of the time (around 120/80) with some fluctuation. There is a slight relation between headache severity and higher blood pressure. Seems to be stress related. I am well hydrated all of the time.

Last week was the best since my concussion. Really thought my headache was going away until Friday night. I went to a rave, was feeling seriously great like 9/10, jumped and danced around a lot, there was very loud music. I consumed no alcohol or drugs other than some Tylenol and 5-htp beforehand (5-htp has been the most helpful so far). The next morning my headache was back, ringing in my ears, and cold like symptoms.

Now its Tuesday and the headache persists. Can't believe I set myself back. Not sure if its because I was too active, am sick, or lost alignment in my neck.

This is the exact type of roller coaster I have experienced after my cycling related concussion back in March. I think it has something to do with just overdoing it and not actually being sick. Sometimes, I have almost flu like fatigue if I overdo it. (As in, as I feel today after having a really stressful day at work yesterday). Hang in there. I'm at 6 1/2 months and can't even imagine competing on the bike again. But I am hopeful that one day I will at least get some of my former self back. Fortunately, I am still able to ride and that makes me feel better almost always.

I suggest only slowly adding back activities, in baby steps...
The possible after effect of the rave is a warning that you aren't ready for normal things yet..
Ease back into activities as you can tolerate with no increase in symptoms.
