Hello;
Long story short - I hit/banged my head with a drawer knob on Monday night. I still have a headache about 4days after. Moves around my head. Then again, I can't tell if it's a migraine, tension or sinus headache. No other symptoms. I've been taking my tension pills, sinus medicine...helps here & there. I feels better when I sleep it off. Any ideas? |

Have you been at a PT - could sound like tensions from the neck. Just a proposal.

Not to be a downer but the last time I banged my head hard, I had a headache that lasted on and off for 6 months. A few days or a week should be considered par for the course and not a reason to be concerned about a severe injury worth expensive diagnostics or even a doctor's visit.
Maybe some ice.. |

Try and eat well and get into a regular sleeping schedule if you're already not. With this, your headache will hopefully resolve sometime in the near future.
As for headaches, there are many who endure years of headaches following their head injury. I currently am at almost 24 months of constant headache pain, though I know others here have suffered much longer. If you have any other questions on management, coping, etc., there's a lot of great people, such as Mark, that have a wealth of experience. Hope your headaches cease quickly! |
