Is it a PCS relapse or anxiety??????Its been a while since I posted here so I thought I would check in to see if any of my fellow PCS sufferers have to live with what I live with on a daily basis. Its been two years since my PCS symptoms calmed down. They never fully went away but I feel pretty good most of the days. However, its seems that the slightest hit impact on ,my head will make my brain fog kick in. Whether its a pillow nudge from a forearm during a hug......my mind immediately starts self analyzing. I really cant tell if its anxiety or a relapse. it usually will last a couple of days and then go away.
your thoughts.

95% anxiety with maybe 5% relapse if there was an actual impact.
If you self-analyze, you are bringing this on yourself. |

I would agree with Mark based on me. Anxiety plays a huge roll here.
I got back on my wakeboard for the first time in 1.5 years last week! Yesterday I even allowed myself to catch some air. Never been big on a helmet but I have one now and am very comfortable wearing it. Can't wait to get my ski out but I am not ready to take the stress of a start yet. Bud |

Recovery from TBI is rarely an uninterrupted, straight trajectory of improvement. Often, something as simple as a bit too much physical or mental exertion can make a patient feel, temporarily, pretty crumby.
Ups and downs and minor setbacks are pretty normal. Try not to sweat them. |
