"I don't have a previous with anxiety but I tend to worry a lot." A difference without a distinction. You may not have panic attacks but worry is the same as anxiety. PCS makes it worse.
I suggest you focus on moderating your last year so it can be successful. You will not have a chance to make up for the intellectual/cognitive crashes that are common to over-doing it. |
I must say that my symptoms are very mild in comparison to most of the posters here.
Literally 80% of the day I'm fine. Social situations are no issue. I've gone to parties, nightclubs etc sober nonetheless. Light sensitivity is probably the only thing that I'm struggling with at times and slight dizziness occasionally. I'll take a look at the sticky but I think that'll be it for me and this forum. Reading other posts just increase my anxiety. I had my best week when I was out everyday socialising, completely forgeting the accident. |
Good luck BossMan... hope things go well for you.

I think it's telling that you say you had your best week when you were going about your normal day. I think this is the best course of action, take it easier than normal but carry on with your life. PCS appears to affect the more sensitive types (like myself!) with increased anxiety, I find the more daily social interaction I get during the day the better. In fact anything that takes our mind off PCS is good, it's like we have to train our brain to calm down.
