Default Wormwood, chamomile, ginseng

Has anyone taken any of these to help?

I just bought a bulk bag of chamomile before finding this.

I also am curious about self healing. I read a book called Mind over Medicine where people had miraculous recoveries, some with and some without medical intervention. The author, Lissa Rankin, has a YouTube talk that basically sums up her book if anyone cares to listen. It demonstrates great examples of the placebo effect.

My friend who had and has PCSwent from about 80% to 95% functionality in about three or four months, claiming most of her symptoms were psychological. She was very joyful and grateful during this healing. I also know she didn't push through stress as much. I've heard depression and PCS symptoms can be correlated. But she keeps saying she healed herself, which annoys me a bit, honestly. Because I don't think most people can actually heal like this.

Livestrong was founded and initially funded by cyclist Lance Armstrong in response to his recovery from cancer.

They have a lot of good information and some that may be on the edges of science.

Tongue

I agree that some of Livestrong is odd. Some seems lifted from other sites, and rewritten by non science writers.

Occasionally I will find a useful article, but lately, they seem so watered down, and less scientific to me. I rarely link to them anymore.
